The Three Rivers Petroglyph Site is an outstanding prehistoric rock art site managed by the B.L.M. only 22 miles from Tularosa, New Mexico. There are 21,000 rock art images, the remains of a prehistoric village, and inspiring open views of the Chihuahuan Desert. The area has interpretive hiking trails, picnic tables, and a campground.
