I'd like to see a lot more of New York State, especially the hilly upstate areas. So far our work trips have been limited to projects on Long Island, and one night working in the Bronx.

McAllister County Park
Located on the southern shore of Long Island Sound, this 113 acre park includes the geographic location of Mt. Misery Point. The park contains historic shipping artifacts, cobble/sand dunes, and over 3 miles of walkable shore line.
Target Rock N.W.R.
Located on the north shore of Long Island and only a short distance from New York City, this very small piece of public land offers a slice of solitude in the natural outdoors.
Vinyards and wineries are abundant around eastern Long Island.
